Turkey Paprika always works good with left overs.

It's not a diet thing so the ingredients are:

Take a pat of butter and melt then sautee mushrooms and onions in a large frying pan. When the onions are tender add 2 -3 cups of cut up left over turkey until its warm. Then add a cup to 2 cups of sour cream and when that is all warmed sprinkle with paprika and serve on a bed of cooked noodles. .Totally Yummy!

Does anyone have a recipe for cooking a turkey breast in a crock-pot?

Three Ingredient Crockpot Turkey

Think about using different types of fruit sauces in this super easy crockpot three ingredient turkey entree recipe. Please note the different cooking times if you're using a bone-in or boneless breast.

INGREDIENTS:

1 frozen turkey breast, NOT thawed bone-in (about 5 pounds) or boneless (about 3 pounds)

1 lb. can cranberry sauce

1 envelope dry onion soup mix

PREPARATION:

For bone-in turkey, put all ingredients into 5-6 quart crockpot, cover, and cook for 2 hours on high. Then reduce heat to low and continue cooking for 4-5 hours until turkey registers 170 degrees F on instant meat thermometer.

Some sources now say that 165 degrees F is acceptable for a safe temperature).

For boneless turkey breast, follow instructions above. When you reduce the crockpot heat to low, start checking the turkey after 1-2 hours. It may only need that much time to reach 170 degrees F.

Slice turkey breast and serve with sauce. 6 servings

IT IS DELICIOUS AND SOOOOO EASY!!!!Does anyone have a recipe for cooking a turkey breast in a crock-pot?
My mother-in-law cooks turkey breasts in the crockpot. She usually just rubs it with a little butter, salt and pepper and places in the crockpot. There is no need to add liquid, the turkey will render it's own juices. She covers the top with foil and then puts the lid on. I think she starts it at HIGH for the first 2 hrs, then turns it to LOW for another 4-6 hrs until tender.Does anyone have a recipe for cooking a turkey breast in a crock-pot?
Juicy Crockpot Turkey Breast Recipe #188444

You might never make turkey breast any other way but this, this creates the most flavorful juiciest turkey breast you will ever have! do not be tempted to add in water or broth, the slow-cooking will create juice. This can also be done using a whole chicken. If you have time rub soup ingredients on and underneath the skin of the breast, wrap in foil and refrigerate for 24 hours. To cook 2 breasts just double the recipe. Do not add in any extra salt.

by KITTENCAL

6 servings time to make 1⁄2 day 10 min prep

1 (6-7 lb) turkey breast (do not remove the skin on top of the breast!)

1 tablespoon vegetable oil (can use less)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)

1 (1 ounce) envelope of lipton's dry onion soup mix

1. Rince the breast under cold water, then pat dry using paper towel.

2. Lightly rub vegetable oil all over the turkey breast.

3. In a small bowl mix together the onion soup mix with garlic and black pepper, then rub all over the breast and underneath the skin (at this point you can cover tightly and refrigerate for 24 hours).

4. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour.

5. Reduce the heat to LOW and cook for about 7 hours (7 hours is for a 6-pound breast, for a larger breast increase the cooking time slightly).
Rub turkey breast with a little olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle with a little paprika. Or use a little poultry seasoning. Add 3-5 tablespoons of water. Cook on low setting 6-8 hours. Take out and let rest covered with foil for 15 minutes before carving.

Smoked Turkey Breast - Where can I find a recipe for smoking a turkey breast in an electric H2O smoker? Thanks

I have a simple electric H2O smoker. I'd like to try smoking a turkey breast but need a recipe. Thank you!Smoked Turkey Breast - Where can I find a recipe for smoking a turkey breast in an electric H2O smoker? Thanks
I do this quite often. What l like to do is mix some fresh ground pepper and garlic salt up into soft butter. Make a slit on either side of the skin way down low and use a rubber spatula to insert this mixture up under the skin. A bone in turkey breast takes about 6 hours at 225 in my smoker. You want your bird to get to an internal temp of around 170-180. The best thing to get is a remote thermometer so you can monitor the bird with out having to open the lid and let all of the heat out. www.cookshack.com has an excellent forum to research and or ask questions.Smoked Turkey Breast - Where can I find a recipe for smoking a turkey breast in an electric H2O smoker? Store jerky in sealed bags in the refrigerator.Anyone have a good recipe for Turkey Jerky?
idk
The mild flavor of turkey makes a perfect starting point for your favorite flavors in this turkey jerky recipe. It is also lower in fat than beef jerky. Feel free to adjust the spices to suit your own tastes. If you do not own a dehydrator, you can use your oven on the lowest setting and leave the oven door slightly ajar for air circulation.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 12 hours,

Ingredients:

1 Tablespoon liquid smoke

2 Tablespoons soy sauce

1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce, or to taste

1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce

1-1/2 teaspoons mesquite flavoring liquid

2 teaspoons light brown sugar, packed

1 Tablespoon onion powder

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1 pound turkey meat, sliced thin

Preparation:

Combine liquid smoke, soy sauce, Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mesquite flavoring, onion powder, garlic powder, and kosher salt in a large zip-top bag.

Add turkey strips to the marinade, seal, and squish to coat all the meat. Re-open the bag, squeeze out all the air, re-seal, and refrigerate 12 to 24 hours.

Remove turkey strips from marinade and gently pat off excess moisture with a paper towel. Place strips in a single layer, with space in between, on dehydrator racks. Dehydrate until turkey jerky is leathery and chewy but not crisp enough to snap when bent.

Store jerky in sealed bags in the refrigerator.
Ingredients:

2 tablespoons kosher salt

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon peeled and chopped fresh ginger

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2 cloves garlic, crushed

2 tablespoons light soy sauce

1 1/2 cups pineapple juice

1 pound boneless turkey breast, cut into long, thin strips about 1/4 inch wide

Directions:

In a bowl, combine all the ingredients except the turkey and mix well. Add the turkey strips and turn them to coat evenly. Place the turkey strips and marinade in a large, zippered plastic bag, press out any air from the bag, and seal closed. Refrigerate for 24 hours, picking up the bag once or twice during that time to redistribute the marinade.

Preheat the oven to 250掳F.

Remove the turkey strips from the marinade, drain well, and lay them on a wire rack placed on top of a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Bake the strips, turning once, until brown and leathery, 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Let cool completely, then place in a zippered plastic bag or tightly capped jar. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.

Makes about 16 strips

Custom-made dried turkey strips, or jerky, are more tender and much more flavorful than any you buy at the store. They are great for travel, very low in fat, and can be made to your desired level of spiciness with the addition of more ground pepper to the marinade.
