Wash, pat dry, season with salt and pepper .. in a food processor or with a mortar and pestle, make a paste of garlic, thyme, celery leaves, scallions and olive oil. Rub this mixture all over the legs and bake at 350 degrees covered for an hour. Uncover and let roast until golden brown.Does anyone have a recipe for roasted turkey legs?
This is what I do..Put them in a casserole dish..rub butter all over, put them in a 325 oven...bake uncovered for 1 hour.. cover with foil and bake another hour..make gravy with the juices...
Have you tried deep frying them.......I had always had turkey the regular cook in the oven for hours way..until a couple years ago at my husbands office Christmas dinner, his boss deep fried the turkey......Oh MY God....it was the best. It was so crispy on the outside and inside it was the moistest I had ever had. You can inject seasonings into the meat before you put inthe fryer and it seals the flavors in.
